San Diego Fleet vs Birmingham Iron

San Diego’s new Pro Football Team- The SanDiego Fleet, lost a close one at SDCCU Stadium last night 32-29, with a final second field goal by former Charger-Nick Novak. For those of you who don’t know, the Alliance of American Football (AAF) is the new Professional Football League aimed at feeding your football fix after the Super Bowl. There are a lot of refreshing things to love about what the AAF is doing, from hiring 3 female coaches, having all players get the same base pay with incentives based on performance, to allowing the fans to hear the communications during instant replay, just to name a few. I was pretty impressed with the speed and size of these players, this could truly be a great way to cultivate young talent for the NFL, as well as squeak out a little more football life out of some veterans.
